• Miller awarded Hilliard Memorial Scholarship (times-georgian.com) — A Carrollton-based American Legion post has awarded the $1,000 Dr. Robert Hilliard Memorial Scholarship to Temple High School salutatorian Madeline Claire Miller. The scholarship honors a late University of West Georgia professor and veteran, and will help Miller pursue biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Georgia after a standout high school career.
