• Miller awarded Hilliard Memorial Scholarship (times-georgian.com) — A Temple High School standout is getting a boost for college: salutatorian Madeline Claire Miller has been awarded the $1,000 Dr. Robert Hilliard Memorial Scholarship from American Legion Post 143 in Carrollton. The honor recognizes her 4.4 GPA, leadership, and service as she heads to the University of Georgia to study biomedical and pharmaceutical science.
